If you’ve ever browsed the internet looking for workout advice, you know how difficult it is to identify programs that work. Even experienced gym-goers get caught up in workouts that promise massive gains in six weeks or less.

That’s why our gym is so valuable for so many people. Instead of doing the research yourself, we’ve done that part of the work for you. All you need to do is show up and give each workout your all.

Some people get their motivation from slow and steady improvement, while others thrive on competition. No matter what your style, we offer a space where you can see results more quickly than other gym routines, as long as you put in the hard work.

We want you to get strong and capable and see the difference functional strength can make in your life.

Emily Damman

Hi! I’m Emily, a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer and the head of Kids’ Physio and Group Fitness. I’ve been part of this gym family since 2018, and my passion for coaching grew from my own transformation—losing over 70 pounds and rebuilding my strength and confidence.
Along with my CPT, I’ve completed Youth Resistance Training and Early Sports Specialization courses, allowing me to design safe, effective programs for young athletes. I also work closely with adults at every stage of their fitness journey—whether you’re brand new, working toward weight loss, rebuilding confidence, or chasing strength and muscle gains.
No matter who I’m training, my goal is the same: to support you, build confidence, and help you create habits that last.

Abbey Hemstock

Hi, I’m Abbey!

I hold an Honors Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and a certified Primal Health Coach (PHC).

As a dedicated mom to three young children, I understand first hand the challenges of staying healthy while managing a busy schedule – and I am passionate about helping others do the same. With years of experience in a gym setting, I draw on both my personal and professional experiences to help clients build sustainable routines, blending functional movement and practical strategies to foster strength, confidence and long-term success!

Hey, I’m Coach P — a certified personal trainer, menopause specialist coach, and proud graduate of the Strong Formula.
I’m not here to sell you a quick fix

I’m here to help you build strength, confidence, and habits that last.

My fitness journey started in my 30s when I was too intimidated to even walk into a gym. I began with running, learned to lift, and eventually found myself competing on stage, not to prove anything to anyone else, but to show myself what I was capable of. Now, well into my 40s, I’ve learned that our bodies change and so must our approach. Hormones shift, energy dips, metabolism slows but none of that means we stop. It means we train smarter, nourish better, and rebuild stronger than ever.

At Genuine Fitness, I coach women who are ready to reclaim their better selves , those who are done with the quick-fix diets, the all-or-nothing mindset, and the guilt around food and fitness. I teach sustainable strength training, realistic nutrition, and mindset tools that help you feel strong, confident, and in control again.

Whether we’re working on your form in the gym or re-igniting your fire online, my goal is simple, to help you fall in love with your body for what it can do, not just how it looks. Because you’re not too old, too busy, or too late

Meet Ryan — Trainer. Father. Health Advocate.

I’m a certified personal trainer at Genuine Fitness with a passion for helping people feel strong and capable. Fitness has been part of my life since high school, but becoming a father is what truly ignited my commitment to living a healthier, more intentional lifestyle.

When my oldest was born, I realized just how valuable strength, movement, and overall well-being really are — not only for myself, but for the people who depend on me. I bring that perspective into every session, creating training experiences that are supportive, effective, and focused on long-term success.

My goal is to help you build confidence, move better, and feel your best — both in and out of the gym.
