I joined Genuine Fitness about 5 years ago. I loved the inclusive spirit of the classes, but long past injuries were a problem. I’d already passed 55 and decided I needed one on one training to work on my particular issues. I’ve been working steadily with one of the trainers here and it’s her incredible knowledge of the body and how it moves that has helped me move forward and work through some debilitating issues.

I hope she’ll be my personal trainer until I’m 90! If you think a personal trainer is just for body builders, you’re wrong. My personal trainer plans classes personalized for my physical issues and my goals. I am stronger and have better balance now. I’m recovering from foot surgery and have realized just how important a role working with Renee has been for my recovery. She genuinely cares about her clients and is enthusiastic in trying to develop solutions.
